GEBO publishes individual books, and others belonging to specialized series. These are the series :

Contemporary Poetry; New Writings; the Second stage of the Thousand Books project; History of the Egyptians; Arabic Classics; Prize-winning books; Science and Life; Union book; New Authors; Children's Books (Children's Literature around the world, the Suzan Mubarak Award for paintings and books for young people, plays from the Classics for children), General books (novel, poetry, drama); abridged Arabic Classics; trends and personalities; the Teymour Competition for young dramatists.
GEBO is the institution responsible for implementing the Family Library project, which includes the following series :
Literature, Arabic Classics, social sciences, science and technology, philosophy, art, children's book (know and learn, Suzan Mubarak's Award for paintings and books for children).

Since its establishment, GEBO has published a number of encyclopedias and dictionaries, namely :
* The Encyclopedia of Fine Arts in Egypt (80 years of ideas 1908- 1988).
